Sunshine Terrific Twos

Around age two, children start thinking independently, improving problem-solving, language, memory, and social bonds.

Sunshine Learning Center supports this growth across four areas:

  • Cognitive: encourage exploration with books, sorting pegs, large crayons, and paints.
  • Social‑emotional: foster cooperative and independent play, dramatic play, and choice-making.
  • Communication: use positive, responsive talk, reading with repetition and rhymes, singing, and introducing written words.
  •  Physical: promote running, jumping, climbing, riding, and fine‑motor activities with appropriate equipment.
  • The program emphasizes choice, playful learning, and supportive guidance.
